The Agency for Science and Higher Education, in co-operation with The Ministry of Public Administration, established the
EMREX data access points (EMP) in late August 2018 and enabled a new service e-Exchange of student grades accessible on the
e-Citizens web site. In this way, Croatia joined the
EMREX network, whose purpose is to promote student mobility and encourage students to more effectively control their own student data and its exchange, especially beyond the borders of their country.
On the e-Citizens web site, students of higher education institutions will be able to request their electronic transcripts at any time for free and upload them to the web site of the university where they will be attending the exchange programme.
In case the higher education institution is not a member of EMREX, but accepts digital records, the student can submit an electronically signed document that has been downloaded from the e-Citizens web site. In the same way, students can upload their grades on the web site of their home institution upon returning from their exchange.
